FM Cottonwood  – APHA World Ranch Rail Pleasure Sweepstakes Open Champion

The very first time that Bud Lyon and FM Cottonwood showed in the APHA World Ranch Rail Pleasure Sweepstakes they show all the other entries how it is done! Wow – winning the 2021 APHA World Ranch Rail Pleasure Sweepstakes Open Championship is like a dream come true.  shown in this class.

FM Cottonwood has been a true pleasure to own and to show. The judging of the ranch rail pleasure class is that the judge must measure the ability of the horse to be a pleasure to ride while being used as a means of conveyance from one ranch task to another and should reflect the versatility, attitude, and movement of a working horse. The horse should be well-broke, relaxed, quiet, soft and cadenced at all gaits. 

Clearly FM Cottonwood and Bud Lyon have shown that they are winners at the very top level.

A Victory Pass…Tip of the hat from trainer and showman Bud Lyon  of Bud Lyons Performance Horses with FM Cottonwood. He took home the APHA World Champion Ranch Rail Pleasure AND  the NSBA World Champion Ranch Rail Pleasure award. Amazing – as this is the first time that FM Cottonwood has ever shown in this class.
