FM COTTONWOOD –
AQHA World Ranch Riding Open Reserve Champion

Bud Lyon and FM Cottonwood, brought home the AQHA World Show Ranch Riding Level 1 Open Reserve Championship from the 2021 AQHA World Show.

In ranch riding, the horse is judged on its ability to work at a forward, working speed while performing required and optional maneuvers. The ranch riding horse should simulate a horse riding outside the confines of an arena and reflect the versatility, attitude and movement of a working horse.

Clearly FM Cottonwood and Bud Lyon have mastered this AQHA event.

It has been such an awesome journey to watch FM Cottonwood show in a variety of disciplines and excel. He is such a versatile horse, with a great mind and calm disposition, and his offspring appear to be following in his footsteps.
